Demonstration of encaustic painting Saturday, March 22nd, 1:00 p.m.
Six artists brought together by the medium of encaustic exhibit the versatility of this
ancient medium in their work. Beeswax, pigment and resin are combined to make
encaustic paint, which is heated and applied in a molten state to various supports.
